New and Noteworthy

A New Look for the Next Chapter

This year marks an exciting milestone for McKinley as we unveil a refreshed brand identity that reflects where we are today and where we are headed tomorrow.

Over the past 34 years, McKinley has grown from a local contractor into one of Southeastern North Carolina’s leading commercial builders. Along the way, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with incredible clients, working alongside talented design and trade partners, and helping shape the communities where we live and work.

While our company has evolved, the principles that have guided us since day one remain unchanged. Our commitment to Faith and Family, Integrity, Relationships, Service to Others, and Teamwork continues to define who we are and how we do business.

Our updated logo and visual identity are intended to better reflect the strength, professionalism, and forward momentum of McKinley today. It is a modern expression of the same company our clients, employees, and partners have trusted for more than three decades.

What hasn’t changed is our purpose. We remain committed to building lasting relationships, delivering exceptional projects, and serving our communities with the same dedication and care that have defined McKinley for 34 years.

As we look ahead, this brand refresh represents confidence in our future while honoring the foundation that brought us here. We are proud of our history, grateful for the people who have been part of our journey, and excited for the opportunities that lie ahead.

New look. Same values. Same commitment. Same McKinley.

New Faces

As McKinley continues to grow, so does our investment in the talented people who make our success possible. During the first half of 2026, we were pleased to welcome three new team members whose experience, character, and commitment to excellence further strengthen our ability to serve clients throughout Southeastern North Carolina.

Michael Brisson joined McKinley as a Project Manager, bringing nearly two decades of commercial construction experience across a wide range of project types. His background spans every phase of project delivery—from planning, budgeting, and preconstruction through construction, closeout, and occupancy. Mike’s collaborative leadership style, technical expertise, and client-focused approach make him a valuable addition to our operations team as we continue to manage increasingly complex projects throughout the region.

In the field, McKinley expanded its superintendent team with the addition of Sean Wrigglesworth and Mason Hodges. Sean brings a unique and diverse background that includes service as a U.S. Navy air crewman, military contractor experience supporting operations overseas, and leadership roles in manufacturing and construction supply. His discipline, adaptability, and strong work ethic make him well-suited to lead projects and support our field operations.

Mason joins McKinley after earning a degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. A Wilmington native, Mason previously interned with McKinley during the summers of 2024 and 2025, where he quickly earned the respect of our project teams through his work ethic, professionalism, and eagerness to learn. His transition into a full-time superintendent role reflects McKinley’s commitment to developing the next generation of construction leaders.

While project milestones and completed buildings often receive the most attention, our continued success is ultimately driven by the people behind them. As our project volume and geographic reach continue to expand, we remain committed to attracting experienced professionals and developing emerging talent who embody our core values of Faith and Family, Integrity, Relationships, Service to Others, and Teamwork.

The addition of Mike, Sean, and Mason reflects our confidence in the future of both McKinley and the Southeastern North Carolina construction market. We are excited to have them on the team and look forward to the contributions they will make for years to come.
