McKinley Building Corporation Announces Leadership Update: Chad Hodges Named President

We proudly announce the promotion of Chad Hodges to the role of President. Chad’s appointment comes after a multi-year leadership evolution strategy designed to ensure the smooth continuity of MBC’s operations and values-driven approach to construction.

Over the past two years, Chad has successfully guided MBC through sustained growth, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations. His promotion reflects the culmination of a six-year plan to ensure a seamless leadership transition. Ken Dull, our Founder and current President, will continue his active role within the company as Founder and Chairman of the Board.

“Chad has proven his leadership over the last 19 years,” said Ken Dull. “His vision and commitment to our core values make him the perfect fit to continue steering MBC’s success. I am confident our company is in excellent hands as we move forward.”

As President, Chad will oversee MBC’s strategic direction, business development, financial management, project execution, client relationships, and corporate culture. Under Chad’s leadership, MBC remains committed to delivering the same high-quality service our clients have come to expect over the last 32 years.

“I’m honored to step fully into the role of President at McKinley Building Corporation,” Chad said. “Ken has set a high standard of leadership, and I am committed to continuing that legacy while driving growth. Our clients can expect the same dedication to quality and service that has always been the hallmark of MBC, as we look toward a future filled with opportunity and progress.”

Our values—Faith & Family, Integrity, Relationships, Service to Others, and Teamwork—will continue to guide our company’s operations, helping us build lasting relationships and lasting structures in Wilmington and Southeastern North Carolina. As we move into this new chapter, we are excited about the future and grateful for the ongoing trust of our clients, employees, and partners.
