Wilmington Trade Center

McKinley Building Corporation has completed the first phase of Wilmington Trade Center, a Class A industrial distribution development strategically located along the Highway 421 corridor near Interstate 140 and work on the second phase is ongoing.

The initial 157,610-square-foot tilt-wall facility established the foundation for what will become a multi-building industrial park totaling approximately 3.3 million square feet.

Designed to meet modern distribution and logistics demands, the development features:

• Tilt-up concrete construction
• 32-foot clear heights
• ESFR sprinkler systems
• Expansive truck courts
• Significant glass lines and office frontage

The project’s location provides direct access to the Wilmington market, the Port of Wilmington, Interstate 40, and major Southeast transportation corridors.

McKinley’s role included comprehensive project coordination and execution focused on schedule, quality, and delivering a modern industrial product aligned with current market demands.
